Cover me a cappella – some more and kilts!

It’s hard to do but I found some indie versions. Weirdly enough, the song “All the things I’ve done by the Killers is quite popular amongst a cappella groups, probably because of the line “I got soul but I’m not a soldier” which sounded suspiciously cheesy with just Brandon Flowers singing it but works well in a chorus. However, most groups don’t really get a proper main vocalist, you can bitch on the present Killers as much as you like (I do) but Brandon Flowers has a great voice. I’ve only found one version with a good singer, done by the UR YellowJackets.

This version is pretty raw but the kilts are hot.

Sufjan Stevens is also pretty good for a cappella versions because he originally adds a lot of harmonies in the songs. Of course, it makes it easier for the groups because they don’t have to work that much on the interpretation but hey, it sounds nice.
