Quickie: Robb Benson & The Shelk ‘Cursive falls from Sky’

Robb Benson is from Seattle and apparently in a thousand bands. I guess he is one of those musicians who can’t sit still and are not happy if they are not drowning in musical projects and if all of them are as inviting and fun as his new album “Cursive falls from Sky” then yay for that!

Just like Gavin Castleton or Aaron Bruno, it is hard to decide what kind of style he has, he experiments a lot on the album but delivers great pop all the way through, with different angles (some 60s rock tunes, some electro stuff that sounds a little like a happy Eels and some 90s vibes).

It’s the kind of album you listen to when you want to get work done, want to keep your spirits up and want to feel invigorated like an adventurous dandy who is about to wooh the world. Wooh along, my friend.
